ABOUT CIPAFilter
DerbyTech, Inc. / CIPAFilter is located in East Moline, Illinois, and has been involved with computer, Internet and networking technologies since 1985. Our business’ primary focus in the 90’s was to install, setup, and integrate computer networks for school districts in the Midwest, as well as businesses nationwide.
In 1999-2001 our company changed direction and began to develop CIPAFilter – a UTM solution based on feedback from School District Technology Coordinators and existing customers.
We genuinely listened to the school staff and decided there had to be a better way to approach technology needs, support, and pricing for schools, in an effort to give schools a different solution that really could help them with their needs, and provide an alternative approach. Since we knew no product could be everything to everyone, we went to our engineers that have a keen sense of thinking “out-of-the-box”, and asked them if we could develop technology to help with the feedback we had received. The pricing, support and sales approach were all developed to work with schools as best as possible and provide numerous benefits with a refreshing approach.
Currently, CIPAFilter is respected as one of the fastest growing technology solutions for school districts. We have maintained a 99%+ renewal rate since 2002, and continue to genuinely listen to our customers needs, provide superior support and consulting, and develop technology that provides better results with less management and cost.
